How would you describe your style? I would describe my style as ever-changing. It evolves with me through all the phases I grow in and out of. I love to combine delicate femininity with more edgy pieces to showcase my personality through the clothes I wear.
What's one item in your closet you can't live without? I bought a really funky top from 1XBlue. It has screenprinted images of her previous work all over the top. It is definitely not a top I can wear every week, but she holds a special place in my heart. Also the fact that she is a small London-based designer and I decided to splurge and support a small business while also investing in a very unique piece of clothing.
What's your favorite MAVEN project that you've worked on? Definitely the Capsule Wardrobe. It was really fun to learn more about my friends’ styles and what pieces define them in their closet, and then to combine it all to create the base for a versatile wardrobe. I loved the photoshoot part of this project too, we all played dress up for a day!
What is your dream job? I would love to be a buyer for a retailer I really love. I think buying is so meaningful since you create that special moment between the retailer and the customer when they find a piece that resonates with them. I also think that how you express yourself comes through your sense of style and to be part of that process is so special.
If you could only go to one restaurant in Philly for the rest of your life, what is it and what's your order? I would get crispy rice with tuna from Fat Salmon.
